Here is an image I took of some flowers in my backyard. As hard as it may be to believe, the flowers were originally all yellow (with green stems, of course), but with some very careful and meticulous work, I painted an adjustment onto the flowers and brought down the saturation. I also tweaked exposer, contrast, clarity, brightness, and what not and I think I made a nice work of art. I did not use my macro lens for this image (I didn't even have it yet), but that didn't stop me from trying to take macro-like images.
